Agfa remains committed to PCB film market

Several Agfa PCB customers brought to our attention that a rumour is being spread in the market as if Agfa would have plans to exit the PCB industry and as such would want to discontinue manufacturing part or all of its PCB products.

Agfa is assuring that it remains fully committed to worldwide film manufacturing and to be the consolidator where others decide to exit. Indeed, several of our competitors already withdrew from different important film using industries. Agfa is already one of the last film manufacturers serving both the Graphic art industry, the medical industry and several other film segments. Total output of Agfa film exceeds 1 million square meters per day.

Agfa continues to improve its product range, cost structure and distribution channels in order to ensure that it can offer its first class PCB products to the market as efficient and as cost effective as possible. This resulted among others in the closure of the Agfa operation in Germany and the appointment of CCI Eurolam as our main distributor.

Any rumour that Agfa would discontinue activities or products in the area of PCB film is unfounded and outright false.

Agfa's customers can count on Agfa as its committed supplier of quality products.
