Agfa HealthCare to validate 10MP diagnostic display system

(ECR, Booth #103) Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, announces today that it will work with medical imaging specialist Barco to validate its Coronis Fusion 10MP, diagnostic LCD screen. Barco’s high-bright 30-inch desktop is especially designed for reading chest, orthopeadic and mammography exams and enables users to easily compare prior and current images, without a central bezel.

The Coronis Fusion 10MP brings to market a number of new innovations including a proprietary 'SmoothGray' technology for a meticulously rendered grayscale curve, which makes subtle details and lesions more noticeable than ever before.The solution is currently a work in progress, but will be showcased at ECR 2010 inViennaalong with a full range of Barco diagnostic and clinical review display systems.
